• Acute oligo-anuria renal failure.

Glargen is an injectable solution containing insulin glargine. Insulin glargine is a modified insulin, entirely comparable to human insulin. Glargen is used to treat diabetes mellitus in adults, adolescents, and children aged 2 years and older.

In this disease, the body does not produce enough insulin to control blood sugar levels (glycemia). Insulin glargine decreases blood sugar levels in a prolonged and regular manner.

• Prophylaxis and therapy of thromboembolic diseases (phlebitis and thrombophlebitis and embolisms).
