"Non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent, adjunct to anesthesia allowing the induction and/or maintenance of muscle relaxation, suitable for most surgical interventions including pediatric, obstetric, or geriatric surgery. Atracurium can be used as an adjunct to sedation in Intensive Care Units (ICU) to relax skeletal muscles, facilitate tracheal intubation and assisted ventilation."
