The indications are :
- Those of systemic corticosteroid therapy, when higher doses are required, in particular for:
- Extra-renal manifestations of certain systemic diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus in case of failure of therapy at usual doses.
- Initial treatment of certain glomerulopathies, with or without systemic disease, in case of failure of standard therapy.
- Certain necrotizing vasculitis, possibly in combination with plasma exchange.
- Organ and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation:
- Treatment of graft rejection.
- Treatment of graft-versus-host disease.
