Medis laboratories are a Tunisian law public limited company agreed to manufacture and market various generic drugs.
Started in 1995, MediS obtained its manufacturing license in January 1999. The first FSC was obtained in February 2000. At the present time, Medis have at its disposal a large well-tried product portfolio and also a large commercial network. Medis manufactures about 100 high quality pharmaceutical products.
In the head office of Medis various services are located : business development, purchasing, human resources as well as all other services related to products manufacturing and marketing : Research and Development (R&D), quality control, management control, regulatory affairs and export service. Company employment has been steadilly growing and presently is over 300.

Medis sales and marketing department located at a new office facility in "LES Berges Du Lac area", employ's a total of 70 professionals.
Besides manufacturing dry forms (tablets, capsules), eye-drops and injectable ampules, Medis also produces high technology galenic forms, such as lyophilised products in vials, dental cartridges and recently, pre-filled syringes.
Thanks to its R&D, quality control, quality assurance and production systems, Medis continues to develop high quality drugs, for the domestic and world markets.
Year after year, Medis acquired a sound reputation within the Tunisian pharmaceutical industry, espacially in the area of injectables.

Despite its recent introduction in the Tunisian pharmaceutical market, Medis enjoys the third place among all Tunisian pharmaceutical manufacturers.
